Van de Hare Amsterdam Barbers is located in the heart of Amsterdam near Dam Square and combines a rich history with contemporary Amsterdam flair. Our mission is to give you a premium barbering experience from start to finish. That’s why we also use the finest haircare products to polish your look. Located on the ground floor of an Amsterdam canal house, the interior of Van de Hare Amsterdam Barbers merges the best of both worlds: contemporary design and equipment and original features, including marble barber stations, that harken back to the days when the current owner Marc van de Hare’s grandfather stood at the helm of this Amsterdam institution.
Barber treatment
Exceeding your expectations is what drives us. That’s why we also offer traditional barber treatments. Lay back and enjoy the luxury of an Italian style shave. The first step of your traditional barber shave begins with a hot towel being wrapped around your face. Your barber then skilfully and painstakingly gives you a straight-razor shave. It’s perfect if you want to look best for a special occasion or event or simply want to spend an hour of blissful relaxation.
